Description
The text of “Dona nobis pacem” (grant us peace) is a short prayer for peace included in the Agnus Dei of the Latin mass, and the three melodic lines are usually marked as traditional. It is included in many hymnals and songbooks around the world, frequently sung during the Christmas season, and used in many secular settings calling for peace and unification.
“Flex” instrumentations are arranged so that any combination of string players, large or small, young or experienced, can create musically rewarding music together. Each string part includes the same 3 melodic lines so you can pick (and vary) the most effective combinations for your group of players.
