Description
“Heartstrings Worship” hymns are arranged so that any combination of string players, large or small, young or experienced, can create musically rewarding, worshipful music together.
Each string part includes a melody line as well as additional harmony lines so you can pick (and vary) the most effective combinations for your group of players, anything from a simple solo with piano to a full string orchestra!
String parts are manageable for most players with 1-2 years experience, and the piano parts are intermediate. The arrangements may be played exactly as written, but “roadmapping” is encouraged! Consider:
- Using the optional violin 8vas
- Giving different instruments melody after the repeat
- Playing unison one time, then using all harmony parts for a full texture another time
- Starting with one instrument alone, then adding more in as the hymn progresses
- Stringing the hymns together for prelude or postlude settings
The combinations are endless. Enjoy discovering them for years to come!
